I don't know exactly how you get appointments to write with hit songwriters in Nashville, but I'm guessing you don't just call up a legend like Dean Dillon and pencil something in the way you do with a dentist or hair stylist. Click HERE for the full story from CMT.com.

I have to say, my husband and I have been friends with Josh and his band for a couple of years. We have the first c.d., that he can no longer sell, or give away. I agree that every song on that c.d. is great. I heard Josh say, that he may put the song "Sweet Distraction" on his next c.d. Its a great song and would be a radio hit. The song "Down Home Grown" would also be a radio hit. If you are one if us that has the original c.d., hang on to it. As Josh gets bigger in the industry, the value of that cd. will too.Now that we have promoted a cd most do not and will not have.....there is not a bad cut on "Way Out Here" either. How lucky are we to have an artist that is easy to talk to, good looking, and sooooo talented. What a great writer, as well as entertainer. Cant wait for the next c.d.

I loveJosh! I first heard of Josh when he opened for James Otto at the Round Up in Davie Fl last year.
It was just him and his guitar. Loved it! I bought his self titled album at the show. I also later bought his new album. My only question is this... WHY WHY WHY did he NOT release any songs from the first album. I LOVE every song. I surely think alot of those songs would be a radio hit. Don't get me wrong. I do like Beer on the Table. But the second album has nothing on his self titled album. So if you love Josh. See if you can get your hands on his first one. It is soooo worth it.
