Got to Meet Josh in Madison
Went to Eric Church/Josh Thompson concert here in Madison on March 17, 2010. Well let me start off by saying Eric is an Ass! What a total waste of a time, if your not young and sexy he treats you like you are some piece of crap, better watch out Eric fans can make or break you!!! Now Josh, what a total Sweetheart!!! A complete down to earth country boy!! Josh you made my night! I have told all my co-workers( and I work for a BIG company) what an wonderful night we had and how Josh made us feel like he really was there for his fans, Thanks Josh!!! (We won't post what I told them about Eric and his attitude). I liked Josh so much I found his website the very next day and bought his album, Great Album!! I hope Josh can always keep it real and never forget his roots! I will be booking tickets as soon as I hear word he is back in town.

First - Cool on Josh. He is amazing ♥
But I have to overall disagree with Eric. I don't know what happened with you and him....I know from all reports the M&G system stinks. Too fast and not personal enough. Not sure whats going on with that....but I will say this.
I've been following Eric's career for quite a while now. I'm 43. Overweight. not a Pretty Young thing at all~average looking *at best*. I have no delusions on my appearance lol. Eric has never treated me with anything but the utmost respect. He's been kind and funny and sweet. He remembers my name and greets me by it when he sees me. He has *MANY* fans who are older, not necessarily super thin~just your average person....that he is so kind to.
I sure hope it was just an off night for him. Because based on years of watching him build his fan base, his fans come in all shapes and size ~ both male and female and Eric knows how important ALL fans are to him. Sure he might check out a pretty girl....but I'll say this....I've watched him pass over pretty young girls to get over to the slightly chubby middle aged fan that he knows adores him. And made said fan feel like she was utterly the most important person in the area.
